This projection event happened beneath an I-35 overpass. This section of the freeway also intersects a portion of the Cross City Trail, making it easily accessible by foot and bicycle. Incidentally, the support pillars flank both sides of the trail and are arranged similar to display walls in an exhibition hall, making them ideal projection surfaces. So Much More: from me to you filled each surface with a video portrait. Sound booths nearby the wall allowed passerby to stop and listen to stories told by these larger than life faces. 10 pillars situated along the 500 foot span of trail created both intimacy and immensity: one could listen to an individual video portrait up close or stand back to experience many at once.

This is proof-of-concept video-only projection test done on location in late January, 2019. Technical support was provided by Martin Dean of Duluth AV Logistics.
